Educational Concert Series

2024 Educational Concert Series

In keeping with our mission to inspire children to a lifelong love of music, Central Dakota Children’s Choir is pleased to once again present an Educational Concert Series free of charge to 2nd and 3rd grade students in Burleigh and Morton counties.

Students who view the program will experience a formal choral concert presented by an auditioned choir of their peers in an educational format designed specifically for an elementary audience. Teachers who register for the virtual concert will receive information regarding the pieces to be performed and rules of concert etiquette to discuss with their students prior to viewing the concert.

The Educational Concert Series is presented by Bel Canto, CDCC’s 5th and 6th grade choir.  Bel Canto is under the direction of Teri Fay, CDCC’s Artistic Director, and consists of 51 students from 23 different public, private and home schools.

CDCC’s Educational Outreach Concert Series for Elementary Students is provided free of charge with the help of grant funding from The Tom and Frances Leach Foundation and Capital City Christmas. We greatly appreciate their support of the arts and investment in area youth.
