Central Dakota Children's Choir

Communication to CDCC choir families is very important. With 300 singers from 37 schools, it is important that we do everything to keep choir families informed about what is going on in CDCC. You will receive information via the following methods:

  • Choir Binder
One of our most important methods of communicating with choir families is the ring binder each student receives in choir camp. All communications including monthly memos, calendars, forms and fundraising information will be sent home in the binder. Students are asked to bring their binders to every rehearsal.
  • E-mail
E-mail is one of our best forms of communication with our choir families. We use them for reminders, for recruiting volunteers, for sending last minute information and anything else that may come up at the last minute (i.e. - blizzard warnings, CDCC choirs have been cancelled.)
  • New Parents Meeting
The orientation and planning meeting is held annually. This is a very important forum for announcements, questions, answers, uniform sizing, and feedback. At least one parent of each member needs to attend. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed. With the help of the CDCC board representative, we hope to have a more active parents organization.

This publication contains lots of great information about what is going on with the choir. Visit our newletter page for the most recent A Tempo.
